Divorce Referendum in Ireland

Keith was on Newstalk to discuss the new Divorce referendum in May 2019 with Pat Kenny. The referendum proposal is a reduction in waiting time for Divorce from 4 to 2 years. Currently married couples must be living 4 out of previous 5 years apart before they can start the Divorce procedure. In Keith's opinion, this is too long. Minister Josepha Madigan was very quick to get the ball rolling!
